A man who fled the scene after a crash in the Greeneville Commons Parking lot was later found and arrested.
Officers responded to Tusculum Boulevard Thursday afternoon on the report of a crash by Hobby Lobby. Upon arrival, the vehicle at fault had left the scene. The driver was identified in video footage and a short time later was located by officers. The man, Jacob Dewayne McMillan, stated he only left because he was scared and did not have a driver’s license.
Throughout the investigation officers confirmed the vehicle had switched tags and no insurance. He was arrested and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Driving Without a License, Financial Responsibility Law, and Unlawful Removal of Registration Decal or Plate.
