A well-known Greene County Clergyman has passed away.
Reverend Oscar McAmis, Pastor of Union Temple Freewill Baptist Church, died unexpectedly Monday morning. He had been pastoring the church for more than 40 years and also had a long running Radio Ministry on WSMG 95.5 each Sunday morning.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date by Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
