A Greeneville man was arrested and charged Monday morning with aggravated assault and carjacking after pulling out a gun during an argument and fleeing with the vehicle.
According to the report, deputies arrived at Pruitt Road North and spoke with the complainant, who said he came to pick up the suspect, Jody Foulks. After a verbal argument, Foulks allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at the man. Witnesses had a video of the altercation that shows the victim then hitting Foulks in the head and take off running. The suspect allegedly fired a shot at the man and took his vehicle with two people inside.
Deputies were able to find Foulks and the vehicle and he was arrested. The victim was found to have a pill bottle in his sock that contained .64 grams of a substance believed to be Methamphetamine. He was also arrested and charged with Felony possession of Meth.
