63 grams of Marijuana was found in a vehicle search after officers responded to a welfare check Wednesday near North Irish Street.
Upon arrival, officers found the woman, Deidra Boardwine of Mosheim, passed out behind the wheel with the vehicle running. She was woken up and allegedly officers could smell marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was done and found was 63.5 grams of Marijuana, a grinder, a THC vape, rolling papers, and three bottles of alcohol that were open.
Boardwine admitted to smoking a vape pen, stated she took prescription medication, and officers could smell alcohol on her breath. She was charged and transported to Greeneville Community Hospital for a blood draw and then transported to Greene County Detention Center.
