A man who reportedly stole items from Hobby Lobby in the Greeneville Commons in April returned again this week, but left before police could trespass him from the property.
An employee of Hobby Lobby told the Greeneville Police Department the white male with tattoos came into the store on April 27 and stole around $40 worth of toy cars and trucks. The suspect was later stopped with another $340 worth of merchandise in his cart before he left on foot.
The man was spotted at the store again this week. He reportedly left empty-handed on Wednesday in a silver car before officers could arrive on the scene to trespass him from the property.
The Hobby Lobby employee told police she does want to prosecute if the suspect is identified.
