The 2023 Greeneville Flyboys will take the field for the first time this season tonight as they’ll open the season on the road in Johnson City against the Doughboys.
The Flyboys’ home opener is scheduled for Wednesday against Johnson City with the first pitch at 7:00 p.m. Magnet schedules for the 2023 season will be given way at the entrance for all attendees of Wednesday’s opener.
Dennis Cook is the new manager of the Flyboys on a staff that also includes Andy Collins, who just led Greeneville High School to a Class AAA State Baseball Championship in May.
The roster includes a great mix of talent from across the country including Texas pitcher Cameron O’Banan, Tennessee pitcher Shawn Scott, Cincinnati pitcher Landyn Vidourek, Cleveland State catcher Avery Collins, West Virginia infielder Nick Barone, Coastal Carolina infielder Orlando Pena, and Stanford outfielder Saborn Campbell.
The first firework promotion will be on Saturday following the game against Johnson City.
