Breaking and entering was discovered at a North Nelson house Saturday afternoon.
The victim had reported a possible trespassing at the 300 block of North Nelson Street.
Upon arrival, officers noticed the back door lock was broken and the door was open. No one was found inside the residence, but there were two other doors with broken locks, and a shed on the property with the lock broken as well.
