Four people were injured when a boat exploded on Fort Loudoun Lake Saturday.
According to a release from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency out of Knoxville, around 6:45 PM Saturday, a boat that had just finished fueling at the Concord Marina gas dock, exploded and caught fire injuring the four occupants. The craft eventually burned to the waterline and sank.
All four occupants suffered burn injuries, with three of the four more seriously injured victims being transported to the hospital for treatment. They were eventually life flighted to Vanderbilt burn center.
The incident is under investigation by TWRA.
