At around 5 O’Clock yesterday morning, while investigating another incident, Greeneville Police were led to a possible track of a suspect when they came in contact with a van sitting in the Ollie’s Parking lot
Officers noticed two males, identified as Alan Wright and Daniel Sharp, pretending to be asleep in the front of the vehicle. A records check revealed that Wright had two active warrants for Violation of Probation and failure to appear.
Wright was placed into custody for the warrants. When exiting the vehicle, a small baggie with a white crystal-like substance was found in the floor board. Wright admitted that the Methamphetamine was his. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center without further incident.
