All items on the agenda were approved yesterday during the Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission meeting including a 20-acre parcel of land at the Hardin Industrial Complex at the intersection of Terry Leonard Drive and Baileyton Road.
R Enterprises, a company that remanufactures ambulances nationwide, negotiated the sale with City Manager Todd Smith and Greene County Partnership President Jeff Taylor a couple months ago. The company wants to purchase the land so they can expand their business and add a Manufacturing Facility. The purchase was approved subject to an easement being placed to protect the Cross Anchor Utility District.
Approval was also given for a parcel of land in between Isaiah 117 House and the Calvary Chapel of Greeneville to be split. The 3 parcels of land will be combined into two giving both Isaiah 117 House and the Calvary Chapel more land. The middle parcel according to Davenport belongs to Isaiah 117 House who stated they have no use for it. Both agreed to combine the parcel and the Calvary Chapel will use a portion of that land in the back for a recreational area.
