A Greeneville man and woman were arrested Monday on Old Stage and North Rufe Taylor Road after they were found to have warrants during a traffic stop.
The vehicle was pulled over because it did not have taillights. The driver, later confirmed to be Cody Kyne, first gave a fake name of Adam Basore when the officer spoke with him. The passenger, Amberly B. Gibson, showed a warrant out of Virginia and was arrested.
According to the report, Cody Kyne had a warrant for violation of probation and failure to comply. He was arrested and searched. In his pocket the officer found items including glass pipes, cut straws, and a marijuana pipe, all with residue. The vehicle also had switched tags, no insurance, and Kyne’s license was revoked.
The passenger Gibson was charged with fugitive from justice and Kyne was given multiple charges including unlawful drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation, and simple possession/casual exchange.
