Summons for falsification of a drug test, drug paraphernalia and more was issued to a woman Friday after she was stopped by a deputy who had knowledge of a suspended drivers license.
The suspect, Megan Coleman of Greeneville, was seen leaving the Glenwood Educational Center and was stopped by the deputy on the Newport Highway. She consented to a search of the vehicle where there were 2 pill bottles with tin foil on the floorboard. The deputy stated the bottles were used to falsify drug tests and Coleman did admit that’s what they were used for.
According to the report, a child was in the back in a car seat where a backpack was found that had a glass pipe with meth residue. In the center console there were 2 jars of a substance believed to be marijuana. Another backpack found in the passenger seat belonging to suspect Shavanna Smith of Afton included a syringe, used glass pipe, and a cigar pack with marijuana.
Summons was issued to suspects Coleman and Smith.
