Burglary was reported from Walmart at 3755 East Andrew Johnson Highway yesterday morning.
The suspect, Amanda Harrison of the Asheville Highway, was caught shoplifting. She was previously trespassed from a Walmart in White Pine, TN in May 2022 for shoplifting as well. Due to Harrison being trespassed previously and entering another store to commit theft, she was taken into custody and charged with burglary.
All items including jewelry and various arts and crafts items were recovered and returned to the store. The total amount of the theft was almost $100.
