The Greeneville Police Department is investigating after a complaint from a Greeneville City School yesterday morning, leading to a suspect getting charged with disorderly conduct.
According to the report, a photo was taken by the suspect of a School Resource Officer walking towards a school bus. A caption was made on the photo by the suspect stating, “he was going to grab his service weapon.” The photo was posted on the Social Media App Snap Chat and according to the suspect was only a joke and is a current TIKTOK challenge.
The photo was screenshot and reported, and detectives interviewed the suspect. His cell phone was taken into evidence and a consent to search form was signed. He was issued a Criminal Summons charging him with Disorderly Conduct.
