Breaking and Entering was reported from a home on the 5400 block of Asheville Highway Tuesday morning.
The victim told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department he was doing work at the residence and noticed the side window was broken in and power hand tools were stolen. No suspects were known at the time but the residence seems to have also had issues last year, with squatters inside the home according to the report.
Another home on Old Midway Road reported items stolen from their yard on Tuesday afternoon. The victim stated someone came and stole a push lawn mower that was behind the residence. They also took a fire hydrant that was used as a yard decoration. There were no suspects named in the report.
