A woman involved in a fire that occurred at 224 Thornwood Drive Saturday night has died as a result of injuries sustained during the fire.
76 year-old Kathy Setser was airlifted to Johnson City Medical Center Sunday about 12:30 AM after officers arrived at her apartment at Plaza Towers. She was found in the living room faced down, with extensive burns on her body.
Setser passed away Sunday night at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem NC. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Greeneville Fire Department, but is being classified as accidental at this time.
