According to the National Weather Service in Morristown, high fire conditions are expected again this afternoon into the evening with strong winds.
Relative Humidity’s around 25 percent can be expected for several hours this afternoon and evening. Sustained westerly winds of 5 to 15 MPH can be expected along with occasional gusts of 20 to 25 MPH.
Breezy conditions will dry fuel moistures very quickly this afternoon. No rainfall the day prior will speed up this process even more. Once fuels become dry, high fire danger conditions can be expected.
