A dirt bike was reported stolen from a residence on Fairview Road in Afton yesterday night.
According to the report, video footage from a neighbor shows a pick up truck Tuesday about 3:30 AM, driving past the residence a couple times. It then drove at a slow rate of speed before circling back. The suspect stopped in the middle of the roadway past the residence and immediately turned off the headlights. A short time later the dirt bike was missing.
After observing the footage deputies could notice damage on the rear of the vehicle with a non-functioning passenger taillight. The 2002 Yamaha dirt bike is light white and dark blue. A VIN number was not provided at the time and the investigation is continuing.
