A woman was reportedly scammed out of money this week while attempting to buy a concert ticket.
The woman reported on Wednesday that she contacted the suspect about the purchase of tickets he was selling for a concert in Nashville for $250 each. The victim arranged to buy a ticket and sent $250 for one ticket through the app Venmo. After not getting the ticket sent to her digitally, the victim became suspicious and contacted the seller through another avenue. He stated he was hacked and did not have concert tickets to sell on social media.
The information on the hacked account was included in the report filed with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
