Greeneville, TN – The mural of the submarine USS Greeneville will be unveiled Monday at 3:30 pm in the parking lot of the Greene County Partnership at 115 Academy Street. The mural, part of the Downtown Mural Trail, was painted by Joe Kilday and funded by the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Greene County Partnership.
The event will take place in conjunction with Tri-Cities Navy week with several U.S. Navy Sailors and Officers planning on being in attendance, including current USS Greeneville Sailors and Commander. The event is open to the public, and the Greene County Partnership encourages everyone to attend and celebrate this new vibrant addition to our community.
Food will be available from Floyd’s Snack Shack food truck starting at 11:30AM. This event is free and open to the public.
