A High Wind Watch will be in effect for Southeast Greene County from Friday evening through Saturday evening.
According to the National Weather Service in Morristown, winds of 25 to 40 miles per hour with gusts up to 65 miles per hour are expected in the mountains and foothills. Locally higher gusts will be possible Saturday night.
Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
