Greeneville Light & Power has announced that it will be changing its name to the Greeneville Energy Authority.
In 2019, Light & Power became the Greeneville Energy Authority and changed the operational structure to allow the offer broadband services to customers in the future. At that time, Light & Power opted to continue to use the name everyone knew and associated with over 75 years of electric service.
Since the time has come for broadband in the area, Light & Power will now adopt the name Greeneville Energy Authority, along with a new logo.
