The Greeneville Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet this afternoon and consider approving a change order to allow the expansion of a retaining wall in the Crowfoot Alley Parking Lot Project.
The change will include a new concrete wall, installation of reinforcement steel, and pouring of concrete. The contract length will be adjusted with a new completion date of May 8th, 2023. This cost will increase the total amount of the project by $22,000, totaling over $764,000.
The board will also have a first reading to rezone 3 parcels of land located on Seaton Avenue, the purchase of an asphalt roller and roll off containers for Public Works, and consideration of bids for Parks and Recreation scoreboards. The meeting will be followed by a reception for Chief of Greeneville Police Tim Ward to thank him for his service as he is entering retirement.
The board will meet at 4 PM in the G. Thomas Love Board Room at the Greeneville Light and Power.
