The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to a possible overdose on Patton Lane.
Upon arrival, they encountered suspect Kip Groom who was awake and alert by the time they arrived. He refused medical treatment and no Narcan was administered. Groom showed active warrants in Greene County and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
He is scheduled today in court for Violation of Probation 3rd offense, with no bond.
