Police are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle on Coile Street.
Officers spoke with the victim around 5:00 pm, who stated the gray Nissan SUV was stolen between 2:00 and 4:00 Friday afternoon.
The victim said she was outside at 2:00 PM, and when she returned to her car at 4:00 PM, it was gone. She stated the vehicle was locked, and she was the only person with a key.
Video evidence showed a dark black car drop off a male wearing blue jeans and a dark coat at the rear of the building. A short time later, the victim’s SUV is seen leaving the parking lot. Inside the car was a cash app card, and $350 in cash. The card was reported to have attempted to have been used at Walmart at approximately 3:00 PM.
The vehicle was estimated to be worth $28,000.00.
