A Greeneville man was charged with theft following an incident Thursday night at an Old Asheville Highway property.
The victim arrived at the property and saw David Norton near his horse trailer. Norton took off running from the property and went to his nearby residence.
A toolbox and floor jack reported stolen from the victim were found in Norton’s yard. Norton was charged with theft less than $1,000.
