A Chuckey man and woman were arrested early this morning after an altercation.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 1000 block of Dunham Road around 12:15 this morning on a report of aggravated assault. At the home, officers discovered that 44-year-old Danielle Montes had struck 40-year-old Marcelo Montes Canales with a screwdriver, causing a laceration to the left side of his face.
Montes said that Canales had struck her in the face after she tried to get him to return home, causing a large knot and a bruise. Montes was taken to the hospital to be examined and then taken to the Greene County Detention Center on a charge of aggravated assault. Canales was also arrested and charged with assault.
