A man was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly assaulting a woman by hitting her with a mirror.
Greeneville police were called to a home in the 100 block of Housely Avenue around 7:00 Wednesday morning and encountered the victim along with 46-year-old Allen Starcher. The woman told police that Starcher had threatened to put his hands on her, then busted a mirror by hitting her with it. The mirror was on the floor of the living room when police arrived.
Starcher was charged with assault and taken to the Greene County Detention Center.
