A Mosheim man who fled from Tusculum police and caused a fatal accident in Johnson City in late 2021 has been sentenced to prison.
23-year-old Christian Morrow drove away from Tusculum police late on the night of December 3, 2021 and started a pursuit that continued into Johnson City. Morrow’s car struck the rear of a car driven by an Afton woman and came to rest near the Sonic Drive-In on West Market Street.
The impact with the other car caused the death of 22-year-old A Pearson. Morrow pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in Washington County court on Tuesday and was sentenced to six years in prison.
