A Chuckey woman was arrested Saturday night after she was found passed out behind the wheel along the East Andrew Johnson Highway.
Officers found a Chevrolet pickup truck stopped in the westbound lane of the East Andrew Johnson Highway near Chuckey-Doak High School around 7:45 Saturday night. The driver, 36-year-old Andrea Bartell of Wandering Drive, came to and appeared to be heavily intoxicated with alcohol. Bartell told officers she had a lot to drink, and was unable to perform sobriety tests.
Bartell refused a blood draw at the Greene County Detention Center and was charged with DUI and violating implied consent.
