All of East Tennessee is under a Wind Advisory through tonight as gusts up to 50 miles per hour can be expected across the region.
The Wind Advisory will remain in effect until midnight tonight at lower elevations, and until 7:00 Tuesday morning in the mountains. Sustained southwest winds of 15 to 30 miles per hour are expected in the valley regions, with winds of 20 to 35 miles per hour in the foothills and mountains.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Motorists should use extra caution while driving.
