A Midway woman was arrested Saturday afternoon after she reportedly vandalized a home and kicked a deputy in the knee.
Officers went to a home on Ragon Hollow Lane around 3:30 Saturday and were told by the homeowner that 34-year-old Whitney Scalf had destroyed a door, windows, a television, the floor, picture frames, an antique mirror and a battery charger for a vaping device.
Scalf was found in a building on the property and placed into handcuffs, at which time she reportedly kicked a deputy in the knee. Scalf continued fighting and reportedly kicked the deputy in the knee again while being placed into the patrol car.
Scalf was taken to the Greene County Detention Center following her arrest.
