The Glen Hills Utility District and the Greeneville Water Commission will be performing work on Monday that will affect water in some areas.
The Glen Hills Utility District will be doing water line tie-in work on Monday on Newport Highway. Customers from the intersection with Old Kentucky Road West to the 7300 block of Newport Highway will experience water outages beginning Monday morning and continuing through most of the day.
Also on Monday, the Greeneville Water Commission Maintenance Shop will be tying in a new water line on Debusk Road. Water will be out at times in the area from Asheville Highway to Debusk School and the surrounding streets of Birdwell Circle, Smith Street, Hackberry Street and Hixon Circle starting around 8:00 AM Monday until the job is complete.
