A Wind Advisory will be in effect for the mountains of Southeast Greene County from 1:00 PM Wednesday until 7:00 AM Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service in Morristown, winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 55 miles per hour are expected in the higher elevations and foothills.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution if driving a high profile vehicle, especially in the higher elevations.
Warmer temperatures are anticipated for the next two days, along with the windy conditions. Highs are expected to be in the mid to upper 70s both Wednesday and Thursday. Cooler temperatures will return by Friday with a high in the mid 50s.
