The latest Construction Update was released Friday for the Depot Street Downtown area.
The block of Depot Street between Cutler and Irish is currently open to local traffic with access from Cutler Street. Grading crews begin work at the Irish Street end of the block starting today.
Concrete work continues between Irish and Main Streets, while waiting for pavers to arrive following another supply delay. The pavers are expected to be delivered in the next month. This block will remain closed to vehicles until the roadway pavers have been completely installed. It does remain open to pedestrian traffic.
The stormwater crew and The Greeneville Water Commission have completed work in the section of Academy near College Streets. Everyone will be notified when this section reopens, likely sometime this week.
Between Main and College Streets are still accessible to local traffic but closed to through traffic.
Depot Street between Loretta and Cutler Streets: will remain closed as crews continue to install curb, gutter, and sidewalks.
