A man reported to police Friday someone has been taking money from his bank account.
The victim stated a suspect he named, installed a cash app on his phone in January. The victim had not used the app since it was set up, but when he went to get money from his bank account, there were insufficient funds to withdraw.
Per a printout the victim received from the bank, there showed 13 transactions via the cash app totaling over $1,800 since January 4.
The investigation is continuing.
