The Chuckey-Doak girls’ basketball program continues to show their improvements this season as they would defeat University High 54-20. It would be a full team effort as eleven different Lady Knights would score in the victory.
Boys: Chuckey-Doak 67, University High 65
The dynamic duo of Cadin Tullock and Christian Derry would combine for 43 points in a big win over University High in which Tullock would secure an offensive rebound and putback in the final seconds to lock up the 22nd win of the season for the Black Knights.
Girls: Daniel Boone 70, West Greene 23
Daniel Boone’s pressure and high-powered offense would be too much for West Greene on Thursday and the Lady Buffs would fall on Senior Night 70-23. In her final home game, Taylor Lawson led West Greene with 11 points in the loss.
Boys: Daniel Boone 81, West Greene 74
In a high-scoring contest, Daniel Boone would top the Buffs 81-74. Daniel Boone star Jamar Livingston would finish with a season-high 47 points in the win while West Greene was led by 30 points from Leyton Frye and 22 points from Ethan Turner.
