Officers who were working at Greeneville High School Saturday night, observed a male at the event known to have outstanding warrants.
Later when the man, Clayton Bright of Red Dog Lane, Afton, was leaving, officers placed him under arrest for multiple violations of probation warrants out of Greene County.
During a search, police located an unlabeled pill bottle that contained six Gabapentin pills, one unknown pill, seven baggies containing drug residue, a small baggie containing .5 grams of marijuana and two baggies containing 2.5 grams of what was believed to be herion, and a syringe.
In addition to Bright’s warrants, he was charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a school zone, possession of schedule V and schedule I drugs, simple possession of marijuana, and introduction of contraband into a penal institution, after a baggie believed to contain heroine residue was discovered in his mouth at the detention center.
