A single-vehicle wreck resulted in a fatality Thursday evening.
According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a Chevy Avalanche driven by 75-year-old Lester Norton, was traveling northbound on Camp Creek Road Thursday around 6:00 PM.
Apparently, the Avalanche ran off the right side of the road, over corrected, spun around, and ran off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle collided with a tree and came to rest after striking another tree. Norton was killed in the accident.
