A Pigeon Forge man was arrested in Greeneville early this morning for public intoxication.
The Greeneville Police Department received a call around 5:30 AM from a resident on Crestview Drive, who said that a man who appeared intoxicated was in front of his residence.
The man was identified as Benjamin McMahan of Pigeon Forge. He appeared unsteady on his feet, had slurred speech, and had an odor of alcohol coming from his person.
He was placed into custody and transported to the Greene County Detention Center for public intoxication.
