An update on the Depot Street construction project will be held this afternoon at Greeneville Light & Power, beginning at 4 PM.
The latest update on the project indicates that crews are continuing to pour concrete and preparing to lay pavers on the section of Depot Street between Main and Irish streets. The section between Loretta and Cutler streets will remain closed for the next week or so while electrical crews finish their work.
The stretch of Depot Street between Cutler and Irish streets is currently open to local traffic while crews continue to construct sidewalks, curbs, gutters and parking stalls. East Depot Street from Main to College Street is closed to through traffic.
