The Tennessee Department of Health’s latest COVID-19 data report shows that Greene County had one new COVID-19 death.
The TDH releases COVID-19 data on a weekly basis for the previous Sunday through Saturday period.
In the new data released this week, which shows the period of Sunday, January 8 through Saturday, January 14, a total of 143 new COVID-19 cases were reported. The previous week, a total of 173 new cases were reported. The cases reported by the TDH do not include home tests.
Two new hospitalizations were reported for the county for the week of January 8 through January 14.
Greene County’s death total is now at 412 since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
