Girls: Greeneville 69, Farragut 57
After a Farragut rally in the 3rd quarter, Greeneville relied on Senior leadership to secure their 6th straight win on Saturday. Chloe Marsh scored 23 points while Lauren Bailey added 17 and the entire Lady Devil team played outstanding defense en route to a 69-57 victory over a very good Farragut team. The Lady Devils go 5-0 in one week and get set for a big district matchup on Tuesday at Cocke County.
Boys: Farragut 70, Greeneville 55
The Admirals scored early and often in the first half, but the Devils would show some fight in the second half. In the end, Farragut would be too much for the Greene Devils as Farragut would win 70-55. Adjatay Dabbs led the Greene Devils with 22 points with 20 of those coming in the 3rd and 4th quarters. The loss would snap Greeneville’s four-game winning streak, but the Greene Devils will look to start a new one Tuesday at Cocke County.
