Three people were arrested early this morning after they were found in possession of a truck stolen from Idell Construction.
A deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department spotted gray Ford pulling a white Chevrolet pickup truck with a strap in the area of Blue Springs Parkway and Lovers Lane shortly before 12:30 AM. The vehicle crossed the road into a parking lot and two men began waking around with light. The two then attempted to travel on Blue Springs Parkway. The strap broke and the Ford left going toward Twin Barnes Road.
Skye Cameron of Wesley Avenue in Greeneville, who was in the Chevrolet truck, reportedly acted nervous while talking to deputies. Baggies were seen hanging out of a bag she was holding. Upon searching the bag, 13 grams of meth and a glass pipe were found. The two in the gray Ford, Thadeus Collins and Joshua Collins, both of West Church Street in Greeneville, came back to the scene.
The Chevrolet truck had noticible damage to the ignition. Upon further investigation, it was discovered the truck was stolen from Idell Construction.
Thaddeus and Joshua Collins were charged with theft of a motor vehicle. Cameron was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a schedule 2 drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
