The Greeneville Police Department has released the name of the victim of a fatal vehicle fire last month.
56-year-old Sandra Kay Peterson of Greeneville died following the vehicle fire on December 20 at Eastside Baptist Church in Greeneville.
The Greeneville Fire Department and Greeneville Police Department responded to the scene at 195 Serral Drive around 8:00 PM December 20 and located a vehicle in the rear parking lot that was fully engulfed in flames. When the fire was extinguished, Peterson’s body was discovered inside the vehicle.
According to the updated press release issued today by the Greeneville Police Department, the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Greeneville Fire Department and the TBI’s Bomb and Arson Division.
