A vehicle was reported stolen Sunday after a woman went to a residence to pick up a present and exited her vehicle momentarily, after returning outside she saw two people driving away in her vehicle.
The victim spoke with officers regarding the theft about 7 PM Sunday night and stated she went into a residence on A W Johnson Park in Greeneville. According to the report, her vehicle was left running and was unlocked. After leaving the home she saw two people driving away with her vehicle towards Jones Bridge Road.
The victim was not able to identify the suspects and stated there were more Christmas presents inside the stolen vehicle, along with her personal belongings. The estimated value of the vehicle is $13,000 and according to the report, there is no insurance on the vehicle.
About 11 PM Sunday night, Washington County located the suspected stolen vehicle at 2702 107 Cutoff. A female, identified as Amber Ricker, admitted to driving away in the vehicle and was detained by Washington County.
