After four days of temperatures in the teens and single digits, the forecast looks much nicer this week. Highs will increase each day with New Year’s Day expected to be over 60.
According to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service in Morristown, there are light snow flurries expected for the East Tennessee Mountains this afternoon into the evening. According to Meteorologist David Hotz, no accumulation is expected for Greene County, but there may be some flurries in the evening with some locations receiving a dusting on one-half inch. Meteorologist Hotz said the flurries would be mostly south of us.
