On Thursday, police noticed a Honda Accord without brake lights and a broken windshield which obstructed the driver’s view.
Officers stopped the vehicle at West Andrew Johnson and Lafayette Street and spoke with the driver, Jimmy Nelson of Telford. After consent was given, a search found approximately 2 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe with residue.
Nelson was placed under arrest for simple possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was also charged with financial responsibility law and obstructed view.
