Theft was reported on Unaka Street yesterday morning, video footage from the victim shows a male and possibly a female, open vehicles and attempting to steal from inside.
According to the report from the Greeneville Police Department, Officer Ethan Parton responded to the theft around 8 AM yesterday morning. He spoke with the victim who stated he was getting ready to leave in his vehicle that morning about 5 AM, when he noticed his glove box was open and saw his container with change was missing from the center console.
After reviewing his video footage, he saw two people walking down the street and approach his vehicle. An unknown male opened his vehicle door and another unknown suspect possibly a female, went to his neighbors’ car to see if it was open. The footage will be sent to the police department.
