The Tennessee Department of Health’s latest COVID-19 data report shows that Greene County had one new COVID-19 death.
The TDH releases COVID-19 data on a weekly basis for the previous Sunday through Saturday period.
In the new data released this week, which shows the period of Sunday, December 4 through Saturday, December 10, a total of 80 new COVID-19 cases were reported. The previous week, a total of 82 new cases were reported. The cases reported by the TDH are only positive PCR tests, not home tests.
No new hospitalizations were reported for the county for the week of December 4 through December 10.
Greene County’s death total is now at 406 since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
